World Language - Heritage Speaker Testing (Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Filipino)

Do you qualify as a heritage speaker?

• Do you hear and understand Spanish in or outside of your home?

• Do any family members speak to you / communicate with you in Spanish?

• Do you watch TV or movies, or listen to the radio in Spanish?

• Do you want to learn how to read and write in Spanish?

If you answered mostly “yes”, then take our placement test on 3/12 @ 5pm in the Library Media Center before Open House for Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, and Korean

*All students will begin their world language at Level I. If you would like to be assessed into a higher level, you will need to take a World Language Placement Exam.

If you cannot attend today, the makeup date will be Wednesday, 5/8, 3:30-4:30 pm, in the CHS Library Media Center for Korean, Filipino, Chinese, and Spanish.
